ASCE Earth and Space 2010 — Jul 8, 08:23 pm

Experts from a variety of disciplines will gather to discuss exploration, engineering, construction, and operations in challenging environments on the Moon, Earth and Mars, in space and on other bodies of the Solar System.

There will be 15 symposia, including Exploration and Utilization of Extraterrestrial Bodies, NASA/ARO/ASCE Workshop on Granular Materials in Lunar and Martian Exploration, and Intelligent Sensors and Actuators. Topics include Methods and Techniques for Subsurface Access and Sample Acquisition; In Situ Resource Utilization; Planetary Analogs; Lunar/Mars Surface Architectures; In-situ Instrumentation and Sensors; Lunar and Martian Regolith and Simulants; Space Commercialization; Geotechnical Properties of Planetary Regolith; Future Missions, and many others.
