On June 2, 2008, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Science Mission Directorate (SMD), in cooperation with the Exploration Systems Mission Directorate (ESMD), is releasing a Cooperative Agreement Notice (NNH08ZDA008C) soliciting proposals for the NASA Lunar Science Institute (NLSI).
Agreement Notice will be available electronically from
http://nspires.nasaprs.com/ (select “Solicitations” then select “Open Solicitations” then select “NNH08ZDA008C”).
The NASA Lunar Science Institute is a new organization that supplements and extends existing NASA lunar science programs. Competitively selected team investigations will focus on one or more aspects of lunar science -- investigations of the Moon (including lunar samples), from the Moon, and on the Moon.

NLSI Conference Student Poster Competition 25. June 2008
The NASA Lunar Science Institute (NLSI) is pleased to sponsor the Student Poster Competition at the NLSI Lunar Science Conference, July 20-23, 2008. This event will provide motivation, encouragement, and most of all, recognition to the most promising lunar scientists of the future.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place selections with awards of $1,500, $1000 and $500 respectively.
